NBHA Holds District 5 Show at Lazy T in Jonesville

A total of 85 riders participated in the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) LA 05 District Show at the Lazy T Arena in Jonesville and took part in a total payout for the weekend of $2046. There was a total of $1514.00 paid out to the Open winners which had a total of 54 runners.

The Youth show for the weekend paid out a total of $472.00, and was sponsored by Bennett Mail Service giving $100.00 to add to the youth pot.  There were a total of 31 riders in the youth division.

There were five riders in the Seniors Division, with a total payout of $60.00.

Open sponsors were Woods Tire Center in Jonesville, Contracting & Consulting, Inc. in Jonesville, Kenny Smith-State Farm Agent in Tioga, Miss Lou Vet Hospital in Vidalia, Carpenter Tractor in Wildsville, Northeast Furniture in Jonesville, Bridget Greer, April Black, and the Norris Family.

We appreciate everyone’s help with the show, the auction, concession, and raffles; we ended up doing really well on earning money to put in the awards money for the end of the year.

Jonesville's Sarah Cotton won two places with her fastest time of 16.204.
Ms. Debbie Guillory turned in a 15.604 for 4th place overall.
Jonesville's Cydney Brown ran a solid 18.311.
Jonesville Jessi White won 1st Place in the overall Youth Division with a smoking hot 15.356 run.
