VBS Theme: Have Questions; Ask  GOD

Here is a story with a different twist.  A positive influence on the community.  We  at  Pisgah  Baptist  Church  will  be  having  VBS  with  a  western  theme  of  Have  Questions; Ask  GOD. 

We decorated the family Life Center western theme.  There  is  a  horse  drawn  doctors  carriage  built  in  1901, which  a  Doctor  used  to  make  his  rounds  visiting  his  patients with. This carriage was built by the Montreal Carriage Co.

We also have antique wash pots with rub boards and Lyle soap; we have hay bales and saddles with all the tack.  There are many rooms decorated. There has been much labor involved in this event.

The  positive  influence  is  that  we  will  hosting  activities  for  children  of  all  ages  including  adults.  We  will  be  teaching them  how  to  live  without  drugs  and  alcohol.  We  will  be  teaching  them  real  morals  to  live  life  with  a  promise  of  Heaven  if  they  accept  Jesus  Christ  as  their  savior.  These  principles  will  make  an  impact  on  young  minds  for  a  lifetime. 

We will be rounding up questions and driving home answers.

I  am  writing  to  invite everyone  to  come  visit  with  so you can see how  these  bible  principles  can  be  used  in  everyday  life; whether it is business or school and to  see  the  excitement  on  the  faces of  children  and  adults  alike.

We  will  also be  building Blue Bird  houses,  and  learning  how  to  and  where  to  place  them. 

Our  Vacation  Bible  School  will  be  starting  on  Monday  July  26th  to  July  30th  Monday – Friday.  at 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  Commencement will be held on August 1, 2010 at 5: 30 pm.
